Hello,
I have found a job in Leon, and will be heading to Mexico at the end of March. Does anyone have any info about the city itself, facilities, etc. Are there any good places to learn Spanish there? Is it easy to find accomadation?

It's fairly easy to find accommodations in Leon. I suggest checking into a hotel for a day or two and scout the local papers...Aviso Oportuno is a good place to start, or just wander.
You will find very cheap leather goods in Leon. I just bought some shoes and a jacket there at great prices.
Warning: people in Leon drive horribly. Worse than DF. |
