It would seem that you would find more help with this there than on this board. Check around with the people in the ESL department there at AUC. Try the language schools like British Council.
Of course, we have no idea how you define a 'decent' job. Part time pay is normally not that great. Tutoring can be a good source of income once you build up a clientele. Again, the best source of information are the other people at AUC. I supported myself quite well for a year there with tutoring, and all of the students were referred to me through friends at AUC.
