Hey everyone,
I'm currently teaching at a preschool in Quito and am interested in picking up some additional work on the side. Does anyone have suggestions regarding local English institutes or possible way to pursue giving private English lessons? There are so many possibilities here that I'm just not sure where to begin...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,

Hi,
I taught there for 2 years, and I found private lessons really hard to come by. I think you might get to know some of the parents if you're teaching kids and you can always drop in the subject of you wanting to give private clases: they could want a teacher after school or might have friends and family. Aside from that, it's not that expensive to put an ad in el comercio, or put signs up at universities (though obviously students arent going to pay as much)... |
