There's a recruiter advertising for English speakers. Nothing new in that!
Do you think you'd have to do any "glorified domestic worker" duties in those posts?
Could Native-speaking English Teachers get legal sponsporship in those posts?

I guess that's just a new advertising magazine, that fashionably, comes in English. Who advertises there? That's right - the upstarts, conceited, millionaire-also-rans and the well-connected!
Live-in job? If you like to be a Chinese family's household pet... try! Anyway, no privacy assured! |

This does not look good to me. Under terms and conditions the teacher pays the agent money.... teachers do not pay agents, schools pay agents.
Regarding the website link... |

Oprah, maybe the agent, Partick Chung, is allowed to charge whoever he likes in China.
Maybe he can charge both sides. |

Well of course, I am sure they are allowed to charge, but why would you want to pay??? Schools pay agents. Why would I want to pay an agent??There are enough rip offs out there.. what else will become fishy about this guy, will he stand up for the teacher or help the teacher when needed.? Any agent I have dealt with looked after me if I had any problems.. an agent asking me for money??? not me?? Is this guy not capable of making relationships with the employer?? |
