Ahem...
I was just working on a recommended reading list for our website when it dawned on me to ask the currently-working EFL teachers in Mexico what they might have read...recent or old, stuff that inspired/inspires you.
Curious to know.
So tell me.
Tell us all.
Post it here.
Ok, ok, I'll start. Right now, I'm just finishing Out of Control by Wired Magazines's Kevin Kelly. Who's next? |

I've read a small book written by a church pastor named Robert Fulghum, it's basically a compilation of various thoughts he's written over the years that a publisher decided to put out. Here's the thought that made the book sell (also titled as so):
"All I really need to know I learned in Kindergarten"
"Most of what I really need to know about how to live and what to do and how to be I learned in Kindergarten. Wisdom was not at the top of the graduate-school mountain, but there in the sandpile at Sunday school. These are the things I learned:
- Share everything
- Play fair
- Put hings back where you found them
- Clean up your own mess
- Don't take things that aren't yours
- Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody
- Wash your hands before you eat
- Flush
- Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you
- Live a balanced life - learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some
- Take a nap every afternoon
- When you go out into the world, watch our for traffic, hold hands, and stick together."
Can you imagine how much better the world would be if we all stopped to eat some cookies and take a nap every afternoon? |

Sometimes not recommended, you need to save the water.
