i recently posted a query about my French (Montreal) girlfriend and me teaching English together. However, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on countries where I could teach English (i'm a New Yorker) and she could teach French. Her proficiency in English is OK but French would be easier. I thought one possibility would be that she teach privately but i just don't know if the need for those wanting to learn French is there. We were really looking into Asia..
Anyone have any feedback?

I realize your first choice is Asia, which I know nothing about. However, a number of language schools in Latin America offer classes in more than one foreign language. If Asia doesn't work out, you might check possibilities in Latin America. |

Mexico has need, though not an overwhelming one, for French teachers. the general preference is for France accents, but that's not a big deal. Try Mexico City for the most opportunities. |
