Hello, I'm an Armenian-American with one year EFL experience. Currently I work in Japan. I would like to work in Armenia next. Any advice? I know of some volunteer agencies (Peace Corps, etc.), but is there anything else? I don't mind the pay, I just would like a little more flexibility than what the Peace Corps offers. Thanks for your help.

There is a yahoogroup for travelling in the Caucasus. On the mailinglist are a lot of people who live there and they will surely give you advice. However I doubt that there are payed jobs, it's a poor country and you probably know. Do you speak Armenian?
I've come across a few organisations on the net who do volunteer work in Armenia, maybe you can sign up with one that doesn't charge you a fortune to participate in their programme. |
