I'v got my heart set on working in Lithuania but at this time have only been able to find one school, IH World Organization. They seem to push the Celta program but I've pretty much been sold on the Global Tesol program, actually very close to doing it.
Can anyone tell me my options in regards to this. Is IH an excellent school to work for ? Would I be best waiting and doing the course in Budapest ? I just dont want to do the wrong course and find I'm not able to find work in my desired location.

I will reiterate: Get the CELTA. I did 7 months of research and visited courses (both for an article I wrote and for my own needs) and the CELTA was the only one that covered everything that I have now used in 6 years of teaching EFL. A lot of 'TEFL Certificates' are out there, and many of them are likely fine for what they do, but the CELTA is accredited to the point that I got graduate credit for my work in the course. It is worth the extra money for two major reasons: it teaches you techniques, skills, and ways of thinking that make you a better teacher, and it is internationally recognized as the best EFL qualification you can get without an advanced degree. I have never had any school question my qualification, which has happened to many of my colleagues. I have taught in three countries and have gotten all three well-paid positions because of my certification, references, and, eventually, experience.

As for IH, it's one of the best organizations you can work for. Having IH experience will open doors in places all over the world. If they give you work, take it. You will have great resources and good people around you.
