I am a retired Canadian high science school teacher with a TEFL certificate. I volunteered in China in 2000, teaching conversational English to a group of Chinese teachers. I have also traveled to a variety of places, and I am fairly adaptable. In Canada I have also been involved in giving science workshops to elementary and secondary teachers
I spent a week in Turkey, and would love to return.
My ideal situation would be to tutor privately, or to volunteer in a high school or teachers college for 2 to 3 weeks. Ideally I would work for several hours a day, so that I would have time to see some of the local attractions.
I dont expect to get paid, but I would like some help with room and board.
Can anyone tell me whether this is possible?
Thank you
