Gosh some people are so predictable I had a feeling when I started this thread that it might insight some kind of self important, high horsed, one should not rely on text books type of discussion. but wooooooooThis is more than I bargained for!
I really had no interest in starting or reading about such a topic. I just wanted to know if they use Headway books in Chile. I myself am admittedly inexperience but am familiar with the Headway series. I find the idea of going to an unfamiliar country somewhat daunting and would have found some comfort in the prospect of using familiar material.
I find it hard to believe that either of your contributions to this thread could be for anyones benefit and not just to hear yourselves type.
As for the funny stuff - I recommend a toot from time to time. I never imagined that Id say this to a person named Moonraven but, I believe that you could really stand to chill and would likely find the herb to be therapeutic. |

I have definetely decided ignore moonraven from now on, he only likes to cause trouble on all the Forums, if you look at other countries he is always trying to start arguments. Maybe he never needs text books but there are some very good text books that many people benefit from and Headway is pretty good as are the Cambridge books. Of course, moonraven knows better, or thinks he does. |

In my defense and even in Moonravens, at least we try to make a contribution and not just ask a question and then afterwards never share anything in the Forum about our experience. Pot smoking Forum vultures like yourself need to learn to give and not just sit back and smoke joints thinking every else is so predictable. Maybe you are more chilled out than Moonraven but at least he gets off his arse and does something for others |

Oi!!! Dios Mio Seor Alan! Que morro tienes!
You certainly are a pistol..always with his dukes up this guy.
I really dont think that an occasional toot and four wee little posts qualifies me as pot smoking forum vulture but I do apologize to anyone that I neglected to thank for responding.
The truth is - Ive had nothing to contribute but when and if I do, I assure you that I will be the first to get up off my arse to help my fellow human. |

Vulture--no: I believe PARASITE is the correct term for folks who have nothing to contribute but questions--and then complain when the answers don't suit their ignorance and inexperience. |

The answers suit me fine.
Its the self-congratulatory ranting that ruffles my feathers. |

And the self-righteousness of some teachers ruffles mine. |
