I've enjoyed reading some of your posts.
I am planning on a Celta course within the next 6 months, and am having some difficulty on the where part.
For those of you with some experience, could you help me weigh whether to do this in Vietnam (Hanoi) or Thailand. My thinking goes I would like to take the course where I plan to teach. Mostly I am interested in job prospects, the people, overall quality of life, etc...
Thanks!

Although they are similar in a number of ways, in general Thailand is a more open and developed society than Viet Nam. There are plenty of teaching opportunities in both countries, but jobs in Viet Nam tend to pay a little bit more. Also, the teaching scene is less regulated in Viet Nam. |
