Does anyone own a bicycle in Madrid and use it as thier primary method of transportation? Does the traffic respect you? Are there bike lanes? Can you lock your bike on the street and not have it stolen? Could I find a cheap used bike? Does anyone bike there?
If bicycling in Madrid is feasible then I will get a bike. Nothing better than urban biking. |

Considered it, but decided that getting a bicycle in Madrid is tantamount to suicide. Ive heard theyre going to build a cycle lane in a ring around Madrid with arterial spokes leading to the Retiro, but dont hold your breath. |
