Im looking for job starting in June. Ideally, supply teaching jobs but they all seem to start in September. Arent there year-round schools where such a job can be found?
Id also consider ESL instruction, but Id really rather not because to be honest I hate teaching. Especially of young kids (under 14). I also worked in an asylum in a teaching kind of role so...some kind of special education thing may be an option. But again, Id rather not.
So is there much hope for supply work in the summer or will I have to look at ESL, mental health crap, or...I dont know...just working in a shop or something? I know in the US theres no substitute teacher jobs (at least where I worked) but I figure there are a lot of boarding schools and year-round things in England. Maybe Im wrong. |
