Good Day Mates:

If you're looking for a powerful and FREE on-line dictionary, look no further. The link below takes you to the www.onelook.com website; a search engine which has over 5 million words from 900 different dictionaries in its index.

On the 'British vs. American English' thread, we've been discussing some rather obscure words from both British and American slang. Some dictionaries have these; some don't.

This link seems to have it all: Very Happy

Happy Searching and Have a Nice WEekeNd Exclamation

Hello gerard my friend:

Sounds like someone's working tomorrow? Embarassed Sorry 'bout that, mate!

I'll certainly raise my glass to you tomorrow afternoon as I sit along the banks of the Volga River ... watching the boats (and bikinis) float by. Cool

If you click on the link below, you can pretend you're here with me! Razz

Fantastic! Smile I tested it out by putting in suspenders. The British meaning was buried somewhere towards the bottom, but there nonetheless. Wicked resource, thanks Kent.

My three day weekend starts here - sorry guys.

Dear Katy:

Thanks for the 'thumbs up' on suspenders. Smile

I'm so impressed with this new link, I've deleted my other dictionary links from my browser. And I rarely delete things.

Anyway ... it is now a very beautiful and sunny Saturday morning here in Samara, with a forecast high temperature of 29C. After I send this little 'thank you', I will head down to the river bank for a 3B weekend: beer, barbecue and bikinis.

Have a nice weekend, Katy Exclamation
