hi
i have an interview for a specialist teaching position in nagano (april-june 2005)
slightly different to the ALT positions. not sure if it's adults only, or kiddies? the specialist areas seem geared towards adults though, unless 'machinery' is being taught at kindgarten these days !!
anyone know?
it's a 6 day week (8.30-3.30) (+- 5 classes per day) (i am guessing that's about 30 hours a week)
they are offering 1 - 1.1 million yen for the 3 months. free accommodation. sounds pretty good to me.
ok - i have to pay my own airfare - i am willing to do this.
i have seen lots of bad press on interac.
personally, apart from the late payment issue, there do not seem many other complaints.
anyone got ANY info on these short term contracts?
thanks

Personally, I think a 3 month contract where you have to pay your own way there is scandalous. There is zero chance of you saving any money, and depending on lifestyle, and average to good chance that you will end those 3 months out of pocket. |
