I'm currently living in china but will actually be in Thailand for the Chinese New Year. I know that there is a Chinese community in Thailand and was wondering if there is anywhere where it is celebrated. I will be travelling around so any information would be useful. |

Wow! Thank you very much for the informative reply & great links. If only everyone could be as succinct. Thanks again just what I needed. |

I'm now looking for accommodation in Nakhon Sawan over the Chinese New Year as I've heard it gets completely booked up at this time. Any suggestions? I'm on a fairly tight budget like most people, but everything I look at on the Internet is very expensive. I'd also like to know where the best place is to see the parades etc. I assume they are on New Year's Day but is there anything happening the evening before? |
