I ws thinking about trying to teach in Paraguay. I know it is a poor country with Asuncion being the only major city. I've read mostly older books on this country but it sounds interesting.
Uruguay appears to be fairly well-developed and Montevideo sounds like a great place to live.
Anyone been there or done that? |

the best places to look at in Asunci�n... are the Centro Anglo-Paraguayo (www.anglo.edu.py) and the Centro Cultural Paraguayo-Americano (www.ccpa.ws) these are the best specialist language schools, with the CCPA being more likely to take on Americans and Brits at the Anglo (it's where I worked)....
After these there are a number of other English language institutes and Bi-lingual High Schools that appear fall over themselves to get hold of native speakers - there aren't that many there.....
