How did you celebrate your new year eve in your city?
I hear Chengdu city had a big new year eve party with fire works can anyone tell me did Beijing do the same?

A Happy New Years to you, too. We had parties in the Los Angeles area, but the fetivity and cheer was subdued because so many are upset and concerned about the victims of the Asian tsunami. California, too, has a history of tsunami deaths, albeit very few compared to the catastrophe that has occured in Asia In 1964, a tsunami, caused by then Alaska earthquake hit a northern California towna and killed some people.
I wish you and your family a very happy 2005

Yes I read the news about the tsunami it said total of people died was over 120,000 its a shame it happen to them this way but life must go on and we must remember the Dead as well.
