|
|
I am currently employed at a big school as a full-time instructor.
That company has sponsored my VISA as I am over 30 and from Australia.
I am thinking about leaving the school and I want to know if there is any way of extending my VISA for up to 3 months?
I want to continue working preferably with another school or part-time. |

OZ, immigration only issues 1-year or 3-year visas. You would have to sign a new contract for another year if you want to stay on. If you want to work for another school full time you will have to get them to sponsor your new visa and most schools will not sponsor you if you are part time.
Maybe renew your visa a second time, wait a month or two and then hand in your notice. Visa is valid until it expires under the same sponsor.
PS you dont say how long you have left on your current visa. If you have 3 months till it expires you can quit and work part time on that valid visa until the expiry date. |
