It appears that no one knows anything about this place. Too bad donna22 doesn't come back and tell us if she went there and how it is.

Hi there:
I do know of 2 of 3 people working at this school. My information is second hand and a bit vague so here goes! The people I spoke to are relatively pleased with it. The salary is decent and the classes small (at least they were). The school is out in the middle of nowhere. The people I know working there also live in this little community which has sprung up in recent years. I will say this: if you are a qualified teacher, I would recommend you try other schools first. Namely, Cairo American College or Modern English. I believe they both have partial salary paid out in foreign currency. If you have a PGCE, then try the New Cairo British School, Maadi British School (they might hire non-Britons) or the British International School of Cairo. Hope that helps! |
