and how would you get this message across to our students? In my experience, they rarely gave a tinker's for the whole environment thing, even though Headway bangs on about it at length in every book.

I had a fantastic 2 hour discussion with one of my private students yesterday about global warming- she's the head of marketing for Petrol Ofisi and had done serious research about the topic, polar bears and all. I was very impressed.
