|
|
I will finish my CELTA in October or November. I am thinking that Mexico seems a cool place to start my adventures, but I know that October and November can be a tough time to find work.
Here's my question:
Does anybody know any where in the word that these dates would be GOOD for job search?
I appreciate any responses!

That's too late for the school year in most of Mexico - though maybe you could look then for a job starting in the new semester.
Priavte language schools in SE Asia hire all year round. |

In Mexico - the new semester meaning March 05?
That is 5-6 months from my CELTA graduation... The CELTA I'm thinking of (here in Texas) is from mid September to mid October... but, because I am in a contract job until mid August anyhow, that is just about the soonest i would be able to take a TEFL course.
Thanks for the response. I'm trying to wade through my options while Im still hanging 'round the States. Of course, now that I have decided to teach English abroad, I am anxious to get going! But, perhaps patience is wise, and I'll have to wait here in Texas, save money, and go when a TEFL job would be easier to secure, since it will be my first.
Right now I'm thinking of Cuernavaca- it just looks impossibly intriguing!
Thanks again,
Deb |
