Hello, all,

I lived and taught in Tianjin for two years, part of that was at
a spoken language training school near a city park, called New Bridge School. It was run by a Korean gentleman.

I am coming back to Tianjin for a few months in summer and want
to find work teaching, any time of day or night. I used to do some moonlighting there with various schools.

Please post if you know any good language schools to teach in full or part time. Thanks.

Hello Chinaboytian,

I'm a teacher in Tianjin. While I don't know of any good schools doing summer programs, (I'm stuck out in the boonies and so my knowledge of schools in general in the city is pretty slim), I'm starting up an expat listserv for the area that you might want to keep your eyes on. It's pretty dead now, (we've only got 20 members on the announcements list and 6 on the open discussion), in the coming months we're going to be looking pretty heavily to develop it into a good expat resource for jobs and events in the city. You might want to keep your eye on it to see if anything pops up.
