Does anyone know what qualifications you need to become a teacher of the CELTA course, i.e to train other teachers.

| In the Japan forum, you stated that you want to leave JET. Are you overqualified for it? I'd like to know the answer to this CELTA question too (out of curiosity). |

| Normally, you need a DELTA and at least 2 years of post-DELTA teaching experience. However, the qualifications are normally much higher with experience in a variety of teaching settngs (ie. not work in one school). Many years of experience is the norm and a lot have Masters degrees. Overseas teaching experience is also a plus, if not expected. |
