Although I have been guilty of contributing to this trend Nauczyciel makes a good point. If we let the freaks simply bounce ideas off themselves, then everyone wins. Notice the only time they complain is when someone challenges them? The rest of the time they are happy with their in-agreement banter.
Believe me, I know it's tempting to lash out, but there really is no point. You are never going to get these folks to accept the reality most humans do. They live in an Orwellian world.

The same thing happens on the Latin Am Gen Forum, however. A certain troll starts a thread and then keeps posting posts to himself, ensuring that the thread is always at the top. He posts to hear himself post.

Yeah, but the poster you refer to is most definitely a special kind of nut...a troll above all trolls. He makes certain neo-cons in the Gen Discussion look sane.
