trampled on the ground...
You took the fall -
And thought of me - above all!
And I just wanted to give YOU all the thanks...
Did you see the story of the Christian man who ran an orphanage in Sri Lanka?
Seems his wife saw the huge wave coming and within minutes had his small boat overloaded with over thirty adults and children - more than twenty-five children...
They went out to face the wave head-on and...all survived!
The strange thing about it was that the 15 HP motor was NEVER kept on the boat before this AND it started on the first pull - also something that had NEVER happened before!
And...they actually rode the wave out after this man exclaimed "Be still in the NAME of JESUS
True story...
The little green flag on the boat simply read: JESUS IS LORD!
I know my heart would be most thankful...what about yours????? |

When the night has been too lonely
and the road has been too long,
and you think that love is only
for the lucky and the strong,
just remember in the winter
far beneath the winter snows
lies the seed that with the sun's love
in the spring becomes the rose.

Ridgetop beauty -
Ending Summer's song...
Why the change now?...Has it been too long
In green?
Perhaps a message unforseen
Through the idle hour
Tells us of the power...
In change from bulb - to flower!

I don't really have ANY idea of just how to get RID of the poison that keeps 'showing up' in these posts - but then, God probably does - so I think that I'll just leave it to Him
His grace is sufficient for me...
Hey, POISON is my middle name! I'll find SOMEONE to deliver a dose or two of my own 'special brew'... |

Is that a real story, Paulie? I haven't heard of it on the AP.
Are you trying to start a new thread???? Maybe the new name could be "God working in spite of the Tsunami in S Asia."
I sort of think that God works in different names that we call him: Allah, Jehovah, etc....
When we get to the end of our lives we'll all go to the afterlife that we believe in--Muslims go to the Islamic afterlife, Christians go to the Christian afterlife, Hindus go to the Hindu afterlife they belive in. Same for Buddhists, etc...That there's one God above us all, not sure what the atheists believe and how that works into their beliefs, but, hey, at least I'm thinking, hey!-- What do you think of that, Paulie? |

I think Paulie is married, with children.
While I don't adore him, I do agree he has the ba...
err, backbone, to take a lot of dissing from many here. |

Just because someone takes a lot of dissing, that doesn't necessarily mean he has backbone . . . or cojones for that matter. Paulie takes a lot of dissing mostly because he makes feeble attempts to diss others. However, when he gets out-dissed by someone or when someone disagrees with him, he resorts to complaining about the fact that he can't edit other people's posts or he responds with Who cares?, which indicates that nobody else's opinions and views are as worthy as his own. Then again he could be one of those types who enjoys getting dissed just for the attention. After all, some people believe that negative attention is better than no attention at all.
Just my humble opinion. |
