Hello. I was browsing through the job listings on this website and found that alot of them only pay you somewhere around 700-1000 per month in canadian currency. Although the only thing about it is that I want to save money in another country to bring back to Canada with me. I don't have a B.A. or anything like that. I'm going to get a TESOL certificate soon. Is it possible to get a good paying job that will pay at least 2000 canadian per month? Thanks.

In Japan, the basic wages are 250,000 yen/month. Do the conversion for the daily exchange rate. Today it is about 80 yen/CDN$, so that means you will make about CDN$3125 per month.
However, figure on losing half of that to basic necessities. Rent, utilities, groceries, phone.
What you do with the rest is up to you. Conservative drinking will burn 30,000 to 50,000 yen/month, leaving you with 70,000-90,000 yen/month to spend on EVERYthing else. That's $875 to $1125 at today's exchange rate. |

Basically, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
In the cases of Korea and Taiwan, don't under any circumstances accept a job off the internet. Just my advice.
Set up costs in Korea are the lowest but if you want to make real money you'll have to be in Seoul or Busan.
Basically there's lots of money to be made in all three countries, if you're prepared to do the hours for it. |

Sorry, I missed that the first time.
Forget Japan and Korea and Taiwan.
Vietnam, but it's not my area of expertise, try their forum. |

You don't have to skip Japan. Canadians can get a working holiday visa if they are 18-30 years old. |
