| Hey I'm a Canadian student at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA USA . I'm taking my TESL coursework this summer. Following that, i have to do a practicum for 10 weeks in order to get certified. This would be between the end of september and the end of december. Generally, my instructors require me to be a teacher's assistant and gradually increase my teaching time until i teach an entire week of classes. I would welcome any location within Thailand, preferabbly in the north though. Frankly I'm not sure how financial support for this sort of thing is handled, so any offers would be welcome. Thanks. |

I don't know too much, but you might look into Pra-Yap University in Chiangmai. They run an exchange program with the University of Oregon and, I believe, have a steady flow of American undergrads headed their way to just such a thing.
