| Can anyone tell me an information source illustrating the number of foreign teachers residing in China.. Preferably if these numbers are broken down by number of expats froom each country. Thanks! |

You should only accept figures relating to LEGAL expats, i.e. teachers who have a work visa. The legal ones are probably outnumbere by the illegal ones 2 to one.
Even so, I doubt the number of both combined exceeds 30'000. Chinatefl used to brag about having brought to China "more than 100'000 foreigners" without breaking down that number one way or another (one year or since Chinatefl came under way several years before).
Try trawling archives of the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong and Dezshira Consultants in Peking. |
