Seriously, these things are great. I'd never looked at them before today, but I'm fascinated. It seems that the main reasons that students join are:

1. Trying to hook up with impressionable members of the opposite (usually) sex.

2. To b1tch about the host country where they're currently residing. (There's a post by a Chinese girl living in the UK where she complains that British people give her no privacy at home and routinely expose themselves to her via webcam. Another student informs her that this is caused by, "a combination of alcohol and no class." Ouch. True, but still...)

3. Keeping international hatred nicely stoked. (Especially China vs Japan)

There are also some posters with a genuine sense of humour. On a thread about what to do if your boyfriend tells you he's gay, one poster chips in with, "Well, I wouldn't go down on him anymore, that's for sure!" Pure Quality.

Well, I won't spoil the rest of it for you, but it's worth a look if you've got some time on your hands.
