Hey,
I'm preparing for an extended/indefinite stay in Bolivia beginning late in February and was hoping that I could get some information regarding the local ESL job market. In terms of location, I'm probably going to end up in Santa Cruz, Cochabamba, or Sucre. Does anyone have insight into the probability of securing teaching positions in language schools, escuelas, colegios, private lessons, or other possibilities? I'm a native speaker and, although uncertified, have fairly significant experience with a variety of age groups. A similar, although slightly off-topic question, is how easy it is for foreigners (lacking work visas, that is) to find housing.
Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon.

Well I will have been in Cochabamba six years in June and I now have unlimited residence and love it here. Each to his/her own!!
I would probably feel different, though, if I was living in La Paz. A very conflictive city and the weather is not too hot!
