I've been considering teaching in Taiwan. Most high schools offer about 59,000 NT dollars per month, equivalent to 15,000 RMB. However, I imagine that the cost of living is considerably higher than mainland China given Taiwan's comparatively higher level of development.
One other concern: can a mainland Chinese national married to a foreigner secure a visa to Taiwan from her local government?
