Hi everyone,
My school district (US) put me through ESOL classes to get the 300 hour endorsement. Is this the same as TESOL?
Thanks! |

Why don't you provide a link for the program and we can look at it? |

Unless you were learning the English language, then probably.
ESOL- English for (to?) Speakers of Other Languages
TESOL Teaching English to Speakers of Other langauges. |

The endorsement link you provided looks a lot like ESOL - to speakers of other (and many at the same time) languages, as opposed to EFL, but that was not your question.
It looks like similar to TESOL, only far more in depth...heavy focus on culture in the class? Sounds like a program I'd like to take. |
