Hi there, I ve got an interview for the 'International Schools of Choueifat Members of the SABIS� School Network' school thing, does anyone know anything about them?

I am prepared to work hard, and am not doing TEFL for a laugh, but this sounds like boot camp!

The questions seem to me to be rather inappropriate. For example, by emphasising that you are ONLY allowed a few days off in the event of an immediate family member dying, and if its anyone else, tough luck! And therefore do I know anyone for whom I might have to break the contract for?

That seems outrageous to me! Or is this sort of thing usual for some Mid Eastern schools?

Remember that the ME views death diffirently. The place where I worked the trainees(Arabs) were allowed 2 days off if their father died. If it was their mother. Tough.
