Hi,

I have an Honours B.A. and around a year's worth of teaching experience.

I live in Toronto, Canada right now and would want to travel and teach somewhere that has 'good' weather year-round as I CANNOT stand harsh winters and snow.

Plus, I want to pick up a motorcycle so I can travel that way as well.

Where do you people suggest?
I can't seem to find any placements other than Korea (which isn't the weather I'm looking for) and other places do not provide me with prepaid airfare and housing.

Thanks a lot,
Marco

I'm partial but...
Argentina... Buenos Aires, Cordoba or any city North of that (about half of the country)... nice weather year round... doesn't get colder then 40 or 50 F degress in winter... the downside is it get REALLY hot in the summer with highs around 110 F (40 C) .
And motorcycles are quite common there and pleanty of teaching ops. according to the Argentina and Latin America Boards.

Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, also known as the City of Eternal Spring. Low in the winter at night of 10C highs in the summer of 28C.

Unfortunatelty, demand is not so high for teachers in this part of the world that they will pay for airfare and accommodations.

Thanks for the replies.

Does anyone know of a place I can teach that does have good weather year-round AND has housing and flight provided as well?

How is the situation in Thailand right now?
Should I consider it due to tsunami?

Any areas of Korea?

Thank-you

Maybe this isn't the best place to ask questions of this sort.

China does not have good weather year-round, as their winters are quite harsh.

So once again..
Any place that has good weather year-round AND the school will pay for housing, flight, etc?

Actually, China has a whole bunch of different climates. The far North has Russian-style weather, the South is monsoon-y, whereas the West is desert. You've got some fairly interesting extremes there, so I'm sure you'd be able to find a place somewhere in the middle that would suit you....

(Disclaimer: Sweeping generalisations acknowledged!!)
