You could do a lot better but probably not much worse. |

I have to disagree! GABA has been caught forging degrees and used to employee people illegally.
They can no longer sponser full time workers.
They have perhaps the worst rep of any fairly large eikaiwa in Japan.
Avoid at all costs!!!! |

Do you mind giving more details about what's so bad about Gaba? I've been considering it for its flexible schedule, and another guy who used to work at Aeon with me now works there and is very happy. He got promoted quite quickly and now makes over 50% more than what he used to make at Aeon. Thanks! |

on Odakyu I have seen their ads. It is like they want to do ads like Benetton.
I saw three:
Romance + GABA (two back people holding hands)
Identity + GABA (people drinking beer at a bar, smiling). Maybe they can only afford one beer on their wages. The beer looked like it was imported from Europe (i.e. Carlsburg)
and one more, I forgot. The picture showed people making pottery. Not sure what that has with learning English.
Part of their costs are going to advertising. I wonder how much those ads cost. |
