|
|
Hello all,
I'm moving back to Japan this April.(most likely anyway)
I've lived there before but my apartment was fully furnished and had all the necessities of life.
Wondering if you can ballpark some expenses that I'm going to incur in the set up.
Fridge, stove, microwave, fan heater, kotatsu etc.
I also have 2 kids coming with, so I'm looking for stroller costs, and car seat costs as well.
Thanks for all your help. |

I suppose that would depend on what type of person you are. I mean do you buy appliances at the appliance store or do you shop around back of it like we do? A resourceful person would have no problem furnishing their place for next to nothing here.
If that's not your style than there are heaps of recycling shops around where you can buy the items you mentioned.
I don't know the cost of any of those items you mentioned because I have never purchased them. Allthough, the in-laws gave us a fridge and paid about 70,000 yen if that helps.
Good luck. Oh, and check out the auctions on Yahoo. |
