Hello everyone,
right now I give medical doctors lessons in "Medical English"; it is a part-time job and the first of its kind here in my area. Today, I was asked if the training school I am working for can bring in a video camera to record my teaching, putting small parts of it later on the internet for advertising. As I didn't like the idea, I rejected it, but the training school asked me to think it over; probably they will insist on it.
Anyhow, from my side I still don't feel good about it. First of all, I will not be paid, but even if they do - I still feel somehow used. Second, the whole thing sounds stupid - you should hire professional models for that. Third, as I partly use my own, private (and thus somehow secret) teaching material, I feel they want to record everything just to have it on tape.
Anyone wants to come up with an advice how to handle it?
Thanks,
Ralf |
