| Can anyone tell me what the official legislated visa requirements are for teaching in Taiwan? I have heard that an associate diploma with a TEFL certificate is sufficient. Is this correct? Are there any advantages to having a BA? |

Yes, you can get an ARC with a lesser degree and a TESOL certificate. However you will have to give a bilingual copy of the regulations to both your employer as they usually don't know. Often times they play stupid (comes naturally) so as to avoid the paperwork and questions.
