I am going to Xochimilco to wallow in the brown water on a gondola with several teachers. Fun fihsing there if you try...you might fish out a car, a body, or any number of discarded items like stoves, hats, cell phones, or long lost friends. |

Hope you have fun, Xochimilco seems to me the most over-rated place in all Mexico, if not Latin America. A bunch of overpriced "cutesy" punts to slop around the swampy backwaters of nowhere after a long metro and train ride.
One visit was more than enough, even the kids got bored. |

But isn't that half the fun? You have to laugh at the "cheesyness" of it all. |

I agree on Xochimilco...I just like to say the word.
Xochimilco
Xochimilco
Xochimilco
We were rained out anyway. See the Weird Weather thread for more. |
