I am interested in teaching in India. I understand that doing accent training for call centres is becoming a big business, and am wondering if anyone knows anything about how to enter the market. Thanks in advance. |

Hi:
I know absolutely nothing about India, but here are 2 possible leads for you. They are both recruitment agencies, by the way, and both have advertised for TEFL positions in India here on Dave's.
The first one has branches in New Delhi, Bangalore & Hyderabad:
http://www.spectrumconsultants.com/ (Spectrum Placement & Marketing Services)
And this one, with branches in Chennai & Mumbai:
http://www.suth.com/ (Sutherland Global Services)
Good luck. |

I am currently working in India in accent training and I can say that it can be extremely rewarding if you can handle working at night. The money is enough to be able to enjoy yourself and save some to send home. The appartments here are enormous!
Both of the companies mentioned above are very respectable placement agencies and will treat you well. |
