Does anyone heard of this school in Hangzhou? I'm really puzzled by this:
Quote: |
By the way, one thing I do want to mention is that we
offer student visa to teachr who want to come here
through a Universty (we signed agreement with them). |
Is the student (X) visa supposed to allow me to work or something?
The school's representative has voluntarily provided me with two references that I intend to check, and of course I'm going to ask him why I would want any visa other than a Z or an L to convert to a Z, but if anyone knows something about this then please enlighten me!

I ran into this same problem with North East Normal University.where I was attending classes. They told me that they could provide me with a student visa and I could work on that visa...when I refused they then told me they would provide me with a z visa...but when the time came they could not diliver the z visa and were processing the student visa anyway.. I pulled out whenI relized they could not offer the z visa and to work on a student visa is "not allowed" although there may be a provision for letting a foreigner teacher who is attending a University teach at the University where they are attending..at the end of the day...you cannot teach while in school or on a student visa... |

This is a lie!
A student visa is marked as 'X', and it is a cash cow for many Chinese universities, but it is not valid as a work visa.
In principle you must stay in the student dorm and take class lessons, and little else. |
