Hello All,

I am an experienced teacher looking for summer work in China (currently teaching at a Uni in Chicago, but my term... just... ended! Yes!) Of course I have checked the actual job postings and posted my resume, but I would like to hedge my bets as much as possible. Should anyone know of anything, have some inside info or what-have-ya, reply or email me directly at [email protected]. I am free ALL summer and can foot my way to China, but not having taught in Asia before, I figured I would ask some of you wise old Asia vets, who seem to impart sooooo much wisdom. Now let me wipe off my nose and continue with my search... Smile

jg---You mught be out of luck for China . Was told today that the summer sessions (at least in Unis) have been SARS cancelled. Don't take my word for it but it sounds plausible to me. There are other options though ...
