Big brother is watching.

Nowadays, "Big brother" can be expanded to mean anyone who holds sway over your next paycheque.

Wonder if that includes fluent English speaking Chinese employers who might have discovered this forum.

One can take a gander's guess that 99.999% of Chinese who claim to be "fluent" will not be able to make heads or tails of this:


The world is like Cheers. Sam is America. Woody is Canada. Norm is Germany. Norm's wife is Atlantis. Rebecca is South Korea. Frasier is France. Cliff is Poland. Lilith is Belgium. And Robin is China.

If we use sitcoms to describe our situations and use analogies, even China's best intelligence operatives would be at a loss.
