Hi, I'm new to this website so sorry if you've been asked this before. I'm looking for a job teaching english in China for July and August and hoping to travel in between. I thought I had something kinda sorted over e-mail with a Summer school but looks like it feel through. Does anyone have any tips about looking for this work for two of us (hopefully including accomodation and/or flights????)
Just to let you know more about me, I'm a qualified primary teacher with 2 years teaching experience and currently doing 40-hour TEFL course. My boyfriend is a student teacher with TEFl also. Do you think we would have any luck?
Thank you, Rose |

Welcome Irish Rose,
The only thing I can think of for you is a Summer English Camp. Accomodations are usually included, i don't know about flights. You can find posts looking for teachers for Summer English Camps on many sites including this one. Check the sticky on "The Best Internet Sites For Jobs in China."

EF employs teachers for their intensive summer period from late June till end of August. Airfare & accommodation paid and 4,500 RMB/month (2004). You'll have to be prepared to work hard, though! Up to 40 hrs/week & one day off/week. My experience was terrific but I've heard some horror stories. Good luck. |
