Anyone know of any good online grammar tests? I have an interview coming up, and want to be prepared for the grammar section.

Thx in advance,

Chaq

I'm usually pretty good when it comes to punctuation, grammar, sentence structure, and other such mechanical stuff, so I was coc-ky (smarty-pants word filters) and didn't bother studying up... When I went to interview for ECC, though, the difficulty of the grammar test was surprisingly high. They would give you sentences with various parts of the sentence underlined, and you had to pick which underlined part was incorrect. Some were easy, but others looked like perfectly fine sentences which just happened to have random bits of it underlined...

I found that remembering what part of the test I was in helped a bit. For example, many of the hardest sentences were in the "redundancy" category (probably because "redundancy" can be rather relative), so I had to look though the sentence again to specifically try to spot the redundant part.

I guess I did well enough, as I got the job... But a warning to others; study! Don't get coc-ky like I was...
