I finished all my courses at my university (University of Toronto) for my Honours B.A. in June. I have had family concerns since then so I never requested a graduation date.

I want to leave to teach English overseas but most places want a diploma.
I do not have access to this until after June.

The most I can get is a copy of my transcripts and a letter saying that I have all the courses needed to graduate and simply need to wait for the actual ceremonies.

Any thoughts on this please?

That will depend greatly on where you want to teach. Please tell us...

In my experiences, most places are fine with official transcripts and a letter from your department chair, as long as you can actually communicate with the person in charge of hiring. Try explaining your situation to someone who speaks very, very, very little English.

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong forums, but I wish to teach in Korea.

Any advice as to what to do in order not to have to wait until June.
It's just a matter of the graduation ceremonies, all the courses have been passed and completed for my Honours B.A.

contact the korean consulate/embassy. they've heard this question a hundred times before.

then, go find the korean board, and do a search on diploma and transcript.

then, never give your boss your diploma. Smile
