Hello everyone!
I'm really excited to have joined this community, since it is so chock full of info.
But my very first question is this;
I'm going to be a teacher at AEON starting this March, and I was curious to know if there are any forum communities out there for new/veteran AEON teachers that anyone may know of.
If there aren't, I was then wondering if there are current AEON teachers/new teachers or even those who are interested in applying to work for AEON who would like to have a community like that. Something to bring AEON teachers together to share ideas, tip, living advice, stories etc. that would be supplementary to a big source like this board.
Just very curious! I'd appreciate any info you know of. Very Happy

Yeah, but the link/group isn't that interesting; you're probably better off staying here and asking specific questions. Joining the group just means that your inbox gets full of 20 inane replies to each strand under debate, most of which simply say "I've just been offered a job in Chibe/Gifu/Katmandu. I'm so excited. I've never taught English before. What is it like? Will I need my teddy bear?" Try it and see.

I like the group on Yahoo, but the conversation does tend to linger on silly things. I also am not too fond of yahoo groups. Laughing I used to belong to a group there and we ended up moving and getting a new board elsewhere. I think that's more or less along the lines of what I was thinking.
I'm already a member of the yahoo one, but thanks a lot senshi! ^_~ Thanks for responses guys. Anyone else interested?
