Howdy everyone! I know this is an Indonesian forum, but I wanted to ask for info about finding EFL jobs in Malaysia. I checked the Malaysian job journals, but most are atleast a year and a half old. I have heard a lot of good things about this country and I would like to look inot it some more. Any info on qualifications, availability and simply just where to look would be much appreciated.
As well, I have been looking into schools in Bali. From what I've read in these forums, the going rates(Indonesain) seem to be about 10 million/mo in Jakarta, and 7 million/mo outside of that. But I.ve also read that people have got by on 4 million/mo. So should I expect about 7 million in Bali??? I imagine it would vary a bit from school to school, as well as qualifications but... Also, is teaching in Bali a realistic option, or is it my newbie pipe-dream about working in 'paradise'? And yes, I know working is different than vacationning, but you see my point...I hope. 
For the record, I dont have a BA, but I have my TESOL and 2 college diplomas. I also have volunteer work coming out of my a$$, but not much of it is teaching-related. |
