G'day sportsfans.
What would be the practicalities (WRT visas etc) of doing a 2-4week job in an unrelated field in Hong Kong whilst on holiday from a university job in China where you are working on a Z-visa?

The visa situation in HK is different from that of China.
You would require some form of sponsership.
Whilst difficult, it 'may be' possible. There are several oraganisations that run summer school programmes and sponser teachers.
